At DojoBase, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our partner martial arts organizations (the 'Clubs') and their members. This policy explains how we handle data as a service provider.
1. Roles and Responsibilities
The Club acts as the Data Controller for all athlete and staff information entered into the platform. DojoBase acts as a Data Processor, providing the infrastructure and tools to manage this information at the Club's direction.
2. Data We Process
We process data provided by the Club, including administrator credentials, athlete profiles, belt ranks, class enrollments, and payment records. This information is used solely to provide the DojoBase service to the Club.
3. Security and Sub-processors
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. We engage trusted sub-processors for essential functions such as identity management, secure database hosting, and transactional communications. We do not sell or monetize any data processed on behalf of the Club.
4. Data Access and Retention
Clubs have full control over their data and can export, modify, or delete information through the dashboard. Athlete data is retained as long as the Club maintains an active subscription or until the Club requests deletion.
